Our Cooperative
Rooted in shared stewardship
The Sustainable Agriculture Scientific R&D Cooperative (STKoop) is based in İzmir and brings together seven partners across agricultural engineering, environmental management, social entrepreneurship and innovation.
Our mission is to develop and implement R&D-driven solutions that strengthen agricultural value chains and support local cooperatives and SMEs through applied research, training, consultancy and capacity building.
What We Do
Expertise for sustainable systems
We work across circular economy and resource efficiency, sustainable agriculture and climate adaptation, rural entrepreneurship, innovation facilitation, mentorship and EU project development.
Capacity Building
Training and consultancy for cooperatives and SMEs, including governance, management, digital marketing and modern agricultural practices.
Circular Agri-Food
Resource-efficient approaches that support sustainable value chains, climate adaptation and circularity in agriculture and food.
Innovation Support
Project design, mentoring and place-based innovation that connect entrepreneurs, cooperatives, communities and research.

AGRI Tech Pre-Incubation
Implemented with Toros Tarım and İzmir Agricultural Technology Center to prepare agricultural entrepreneurs for incubation through mentoring and business-model guidance.
Olive Oil Anatolia
A cooperative-led platform connecting Turkish olive oil producers and natural-product brands with international consumers through a direct-to-consumer model.
SOCIAL NEST
Horizon Europe New European Bauhaus project supporting neighbourhood-level social entrepreneurship. STKoop contributes to the İzmir pilot with local communities, cooperatives and entrepreneurs.
